Black Hair to Ginger and back...

So if you didn't get what was said in the vlog above that I made...

Before I started anything, this is what my hair looked like 1-2 days before I opted to make it blonde ginger..

Basically... On Monday I randomly decided to try dye my hair blonde, so I went to tesco and bought 3 hair dyes. One was Ash blonde, one was a lightning blonde and the other was a dark back up if anything went wrong. So I did them both in one night and my hair was still in a healthy state but my hair turned a dark ginger or auburn colour which was kinda ok.. I expected it.

Sorry if I look grumpy LOL, I kinda was. This what the first two dye's did...

So on the tuesday I rang my cousin who is a hairdresser and she said use purple shampoo because it takes the copper out of the ginger or something and makes it go a light blonde so I bought the John Frieda colour renew tone correcting shampoo, conditioner and the mousse because they were on offer and also bought another lightning blonde from tesco to try lift the colour a bit more and it just turned it even a lighter ginger...

So I throughout work on the Wednesday I actually wore a hat because I was embarrassed of having ginger hair. On my dinner I bought another lightning blonde to see if it would get the ginger out and I used tons of the purple shampoo but it did absolutely nothing so it was such a waste of money!

So it came to thursday and I was sick of hiding my head because it turned so ginger so I just decided to scrap the whole idea and in the words of Amy Winehouse, I went Back to Black.

So in the end I was about £50 down which got me ginger hair that I hated so I got rid of it. I was just thinking that having blonde hair is wayyyy to high maintenance for me so I would of eventually went back to black anyway.

This was the end result before I eventually went Back to Black.

TIP: If your hair gets really damaged bleaching/dying your hair... I made the most amazing hair mask in the world... get 1 or 2 eggs (depending on how much hair you have) and put 1-2 table spoons of honey in and whisk up... soak it into your damaged hair and leave it for 10-15 minutes and then wash out as normal... It almost instantly made my hair soft again so i'll definitely be taking that one to the grave with me!!

Sunday Shopping!

                                                                    Outfit I wore today!

So I went to the Trafford centre to catch up with my friend Chelsea. It was pouring down outside so it was lovely to be indoors with all the christmas decorations everywhere shopping. We had lunch at some american restaurant, I had the cocktail and she had the most amazing malteaser milkshake!!

                                                 Sean.
